Associates will work directly with partners and clients on sophisticated legal matters within their respective practice areas.
Responsibilities may include:
- Advising clients on complex legal matters
- Managing transactions from inception through closing
- Managing disputes and litigation matters
- Drafting and negotiating legal agreements
- Conducting legal research and analysis
- Participating in client meetings and strategy discussions
- Supporting business development activities
- Mentoring junior associates
- Collaborating across practice groups
- Building long-term client relationships
Key Qualifications:
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Strong academic credentials
Licensing
- Active Bar Admission
- Attorney must be in good standing
Experience
- 3–10+ years PQE (Post Qualification Experience)
- Current or recent law firm experience
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Experience handling sophisticated matters independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional Background
Experience within:
- AM100 firms
- AM200 firms
- National firms
- Highly respected boutiques
Preferred but not required:
- Client-facing responsibilities
